12th - Open night: Bring along examples of your work and chat to new and old members.
19th - Paint or collage in tones of one colour. (Own image or use a book from art cupboard).
26th - Auction of David Morris’s art supplies.
3rd - DEMONSTRATION: Painting animals in pastels, by Michelle Hewitt .
10th - Paint using ‘wrong’ hand. You might surprise yourself! (Use books in cupboard).
17th - Draw/paint images by fashion students (Large selection of images supplied by Liz)
24th - Draw/ paint with Sue using horizontal and vertical lines. Bring pencil, ruler and paint.
31st - AGM...VERY IMPORTANT FOR ALL MEMBERS TO ATTEND IF POSSIBLE.
SAT 3rd - ALL DAY WORKSHOP: Watercolour with Liz Harvey.
7th - Paint skies with Gerry.
14th - Upside down drawing. Bring image, ruler and pencil.
2nd - DEMONSTRATION: Watercolour and ink, by Yolande Kenny.
28th - No club as Drama Group will be using hall.
5th - Paint a female back (as requested by the men!). Image supplied. Any medium.
12th - Christmas meal (To be arranged).
9th - Paint on newspaper or maps (supplied). Use watercolour or thin acrylic.
16th - DEMONSTRATION: Celtic Art owl, by Kim Nisbet. Then we can join in.
23rd - "Exotic Lands", Sue’s slide show.
30th - Work from your own holiday photos (or fantasy holiday).
6th - Really zoom in on your subject. Makes a simple subject look more interesting. (Images supplied or bring you own) Magnifying class perhaps?
13th - DEMONSTRATION: Watercolour plants and flowers, by Jean Ashcroft.
20th - Draw/paint details of the face with Gerry. Pencil/watercolour.
27th - Paint pictures relating to Robinson Crusoe to be displayed as part of Largo’s celebration of his life.
SAT 16th - WORKSHOP: “Discovering the joy of painting with pigments”, with Kate Hajduka and Sue Tate. Mixed media.
6th - DEMONSTRATION: Portrait, by Judith Heald. Then we join in. Pastels and charcoal.
13th - Continuous line drawing with Gerry (images supplied).
20th - Paint without using any brushes! Use twigs, colour shapers, cotton buds etc.
27th - Paint a rusty padlock in choice of medium (image supplied).
3rd - DEMONSTRATION: Abstract landscapes, by Yvonne Magee.
10th - CRITIQUE NIGHT with Sheila Caldwell. Bring paintings for advice, and vote for your favourite for use in exhibition poster etc.
17th - Use charcoal to show light and shade. Images supplied.
24th - No club night as Drama Group will be using hall.
1st - Draw and paint a horses’ head with Liz (bring a CD or DVD to use as a template. Also pencil, ruler, paint or coloured pencils).
8th - Watch ‘Brusho’ DVD then have a go. Paints supplied by Liz
15th - DEMONSTRATION: Pastel, by Andrew Stenson.
22nd - End of term evening meal.
